Possibly our favourite restaurant in Paris at present. Au Passage delivers far more than you expect at first glance. Unassuming décor that takes the shape of a stripped back, no frills dining room, and a simple board on the wall with the menu chalked up. This changes daily, the chefs going to market every morning. The emphasis is on fresh, well-cooked produce and the menu consists of small and sharing plates which, on the day we went, varied from green beans with egg yolk to Cote de Boeuf. The ambience here is hustle and bustle (expect to wait for a table) and the atmosphere is electric. There is a quiet confidence in what the guys here do and it is a truly unique experience.
