What kind of cuisine is Maray?
Maray serves an exciting, eclectic and seasonal food menu centred around sharing plates and we draw inspiration from many parts of the globe. Each season our kitchen develop a new menu showcasing the best seasonal produce and a diverse range of cooking techniques.
Where does the name Maray come from?
Maray is a phonetic realisation of Le Marais, a district (or arrondissement) in Paris where the inspiration for the restaurant came from.
Do you have a bar?
We have an 8-seat bar with an extensive collection of spirits, liqueurs, aperitifs and of course a fantastic wine list including some of our favourite organic and biodynamic bottles. Our bartenders are more than happy to make any drink you please providing we have the means.
We have two bars at Allerton Road, one downstairs that services the restaurant as well as a large upstairs cocktail bar. Pop in for a drink and prop it up! We encourage our guests to feel free to eat at the bar too as there is plenty of room and it’s a great place to sit (always our favourite spot when we eat out!).
I am vegetarian/pescatarian/ I have food allergies/I am gluten free, can I eat at Maray?
YES! We will do our best to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions, it is important you flag these up with a staff member on your arrival so that the kitchen are aware and we can show you our allergens information. We are well known for our love of vegetables and you will find a large number of delicious plant based and gluten free dishes on our menu.
Do you have disabled access?
Yes we have a ramp and a disabled toilet at both our sites.
Do you take reservations?
Yes. You can reserve via our booking widget on this website – click here to book.
Do you accept walk ins?
Yes, we do keep several tables free for walk-ins.
Our 8 seat bar accepts guests on a first come first serve basis. If there is no table available and the bar is full when you arrive we will add you to our waitlist and text you when your table is ready.
